Fork in the Road Foundation (“Fork in the Road,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use forkintheroad.charity (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

1) Who we are

Fork in the Road Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

2) What we collect

Information you provide: name, email, phone, billing/shipping address; order details; messages; marketing preferences.
Payment information: We use Square to process payments. Square collects and processes card data on our behalf; we do not see or store full card numbers or CVV.
Automatic data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, time on page, cookies/similar tech.
From third parties: updates from carriers, payment providers, fraud-prevention partners.

3) How we use information

To fulfill orders, provide support, process payments and prevent fraud, communicate about orders, send marketing emails (opt-out any time), improve the Site (analytics), and comply with law.

4) Marketing & your choices

Email marketing. If you place an order, we may send you updates and promotions about Fork in the Road Foundation. Unsubscribe anytime via the link in our emails or by emailing webmaster@forkintheroad.charity. Transactional emails will still be sent.
Text/SMS. Not used for marketing without express consent.
Cookies. You can refuse some or all cookies in your browser settings.

5) Disclosing information

We share with service providers (e.g., Square, hosting, email, analytics, shippers), for compliance/safety, or during organizational changes. We do not sell personal information.

6) Retention

We retain personal information as needed for the purposes above and legal obligations.

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no method is 100% secure.

8) Children’s privacy

Not directed to children under 13; contact us to delete any such data.

9) Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction. Email webmaster@forkintheroad.charity; verification may be required.
California residents. We do not sell/share personal information for cross-context ads as defined by California law.
Missouri residents. Missouri lacks a comprehensive privacy law; we still honor reasonable requests.

10) Do Not Track

We don’t respond to DNT signals at this time.

11) International users

Your data may be processed in the U.S.

12) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy; see the Effective date above.

14) Purchases, tax, and charitable contributions

Unless clearly stated otherwise, merchandise purchases are not tax-deductible charitable contributions.
