Mawda Altayan

Mawda Altayan serves as a Supper Club Ambassador for Fork in the Road Foundation, a St. Louis nonprofit that celebrates the talents of immigrant and refugee women through culinary training, community suppers, cooking classes, and catering. In the Fork in the Road kitchen, the focus is on more than food—it’s about creating a welcoming space where stories are honored, culture is celebrated, and community is built around the table. Mawda supports this work by helping connect guests to the foundation’s mission of empowerment and belonging—one shared meal at a time.

APPETIZERS

Rice Pudding — Milk, rice, corn starch, sugar, rose water, coconut on top as decoration.

Mahalabia —Milk, corn starch, sugar, rose water. Decorated on top with pistachios, almonds, and coconut.

Lebanese Nights (Semolina Pudding) — Semolina, milk, butter, sugar, rose water. Decorated with cream and coconut or pistachios on top. Served with sugar syrup.
