What’s on the plate (and the heart):
-
Hummus – Creamy chickpeas whipped smooth with tahini (aka tahina), bright lemon, fresh garlic, and a drizzle of olive oil. Silky, savory, and scoopable—basically the dip you “accidentally” finish.
-
Yalanji (Vegetarian Stuffed Grape Leaves) – Tender grape leaves wrapped around a zesty rice filling with tomato, onion, parsley, garlic, and bell pepper, finished with dried mint, olive oil, pomegranate molasses, and Mediterranean spices. Lemony, herby, and perfectly snackable—little bundles of holiday cheer.
-
½ Chicken Shawarma Sandwich – Juicy chicken seasoned with Mediterranean spices, tucked into toasted pita with pickles and our made-from-scratch garlic cream. The pita gets brushed with ghee and grilled to perfection for that warm, buttery crunch—shawar-mazing.
-
Zainab Fingers – Crispy, golden pastries made from semolina dough (milk, semolina, corn oil, vanilla, and rose water), deep-fried, then soaked in sweet sugar syrup and finished with coconut on top. Syrup-kissed and can’t-stop-at-one delicious (because dessert is non-negotiable).
Every dish is crafted by immigrant and refugee neighbors sharing the flavors of home. Come for the comfort food, stay for the community—because at our table, there’s always room for one more.
